The long-awaited moment for hundreds of young Karatekas is finally here. The WKF Youth Training Camp started on Tuesday in Umag (Croatia), and the future stars of the sport are already enjoying the big celebration of youth Karate.

The long-awaited moment for hundreds and hundreds of young Karatekas is finally here. The WKF Youth Training Camp & Karate 1 Youth Cup started on Tuesday in Umag (Croatia), and the future stars of the sport are already enjoying the big celebration of youth Karate.

Over a thousand young Karate athletes will participate in the WKF Youth Training Camp & Karate 1 Youth Cup being held this week in the idyllic coastal city in Istria. The first three days of the event are devoted to the Youth Camp, where youngsters have the chance to improve their abilities and learn from first-class figures of the sport.

After the completion of the registration on Monday, young Karatekas lived the first day of the Camp on Tuesday with the celebration of the first training sessions in Kata and Kumite. It was the opportunity for participants to interact with the outstanding six instructors of this year’s edition of the event.

The hopeful young Karatekas enjoyed the anticipated moment of meeting some of their idols, while Karate heroes acting as instructors showed their enthusiasm for passing their experiences and knowledge to the avid youngsters.

Karate legends Rika Usami, Douglas Brose, Rafael Aghayev, Luca Valdesi, Davide Benetello and Predrag Stojadinov are leading the sessions of the first days of the WKF Youth Training Camp, as young participants are living moments to remember in the event showcasing the impact of Karate among youngsters.
