Among the big winners of the tournament, Antonio Diaz of Venezuela presented his candidacy to rule the Male Kata category with his second gold of the season. Meanwhile, Egypt’s Giana Lotfy confirmed her star status by earning her third gold medal in Karate 1-Premier League this year, just as Ryutaro Araga of Japan who also clinched his third victory this season with an impressive performance in Male Kumite -84kg. The Egyptian and Japanese top Karatekas join Damian Quintero and Sandra Sanchez of Spain as the only competitors to reach the top of the podium three times this season.
