As the countdown for the 51st EKF Senior European Championships has already started, Karate athletes from all over the continent reach the final stages of the preparation for the anticipated event to be held in Montpellier (France) from May 5-8.

In over a week, the best European Karatekas will gather in the Montpellier Arena for four thrilling days of competition. The quest to become the new kings and queens of European Karate is on the horizon and athletes strive to intensify their training process. The feeling is shared all over Europe as competitors live with anticipation the days ahead of the tournament.

Excitement grows among Karatekas to compete in the 2016 Karate European Championships, and some athletes have taken Social Media to express their emotions and hopes before the start of the event. Some of them are increasing the training sessions at home, others travelled to warmer spots to prepare the competition, some others are taking on the lessons learned in the past Karate 1-Premier League in Salzburg, and most of them use the support of their teams in the hectic days before the competition.

In either case, all the Karatekas in Europe share their same goal: to shine in Montpellier from May 5-8
