As the 2016 Karate World Championships is nearly two months away, Karatekas aiming to become the new kings and queens of the sport can already confirm their participation in the biggest Karate event to be held in Linz (Austria).

As the 2016 Karate World Championships is nearly two months away, Karatekas aiming to become the new kings and queens of the sport can already confirm their participation in the biggest Karate event to be held in Linz (Austria).

The inscription process for athletes to participate in the 2016 Karate World Championships is now open, and national federations from all over the world can register their top Karatekas to be part of the thrilling quest to glory to be celebrated in Linz in October.  

The registration will be open until October 9th, and many national teams around the world are already intensifying their preparation to compete in the spectacular World Championships. Some of the top delegations to shine in Linz are gathering their stars in different training stages thus increasing the expectation for the anticipated event.

Over 900 competitors from 116 countries participated in the last World Championships held in Bremen (Germany) in 2014. Japan claimed the top of the final standings of the tournament with a tally of 10 medals while Egypt and France also registered notable performances with 6 and 8 medals respectively.
