The Italian heroine finished with bronze while Thouy trailed to reach the final against World championships runner-up Syakilla Salni Jefry Krishnan of Malaysia.

In Female Kumite -61 Kg, Karate Star Giana Lotfy of Egypt stated her dominace of the category and points at her third gold of the season after cruising in all her bouts of the day. The World champion will clash for the title against Javiera Gonzalez of Chile who finished with silver in Fortaleza last weekend.

The crown in the category will be decided between Cheryl Murphy of USA and Iryna Zaretska of Azerbaijan in a quest for their first gold in Karate 1-Premier League competitions this season.

Meanwhile, Viviana Bottaro of Italy and Aya Ismail of Egypt aimed at their first triumph in the first-class international Karate competition this year as they will meet in the final of an open Female Kata category.
