On 28th, 29th, 30th & 31st of August, Lima, Peru has been the host of its second Continental Championships of 2014. After the Pan American Senior Championships last May, this was the time for the Cadets, Juniors and Under 21, to gather in Lima for the Continental Championships, organized by the Karate Federation of Peru under the auspices of the Pan American Karate Federation.

On 28th, 29th, 30th & 31st of August, Lima, Peru has been the host of its second Continental Championships of 2014.
After the Pan American Senior Championships last May, this was the time for the Cadets, Juniors and Under 21, to gather in Lima for the Continental Championships, organized by the Karate Federation of Peru under the auspices of the Pan American Karate Federation.
It has been a successful event where 693 athletes participated in representation of 22 PKF member countries (Brazil, Canada, USA, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Suriname, Trinidad &Tobago, Paraguay, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Uruguay, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Curacao, Panama, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Argentina).
 
With 14 Gold medals (12 silver, 13 bronze), Venezuela dominated this edition, Mexico (7 gold, 10 silver, 16 bronze) and Brazil completing the podium.
Between 25th and 27th August the Pan American Referee and Coach Courses were held by the PKF Referee Commission, having a significant participation.
