Karate featured in successful edition of Friendships Games

The 2017 Friendships Games finished this past weekend as over 200 young athletes from the Great Lakes region gathered in Bujumbura (Burundi) to celebrate  the practice of sport. Karate was one of the sports featured at the event and the WKF contributed to the success of the Games providing lessons and equipment to hold multiple workshops throughout the two days.

Stanislav Horuna, Zabiollah Poorshab and Hideyoshi Kagawa in male categories, and Alexandra Grande, Lamya Matoub and Ayumi Uekusa in female competition were among the new medallists of The World Games.
