The third edition of the Dubai open took place between the 30th of January and the 2nd of February

The third edition of the Dubai open took place between the 30th of January and the 2nd of February, with a participation of 50 countries and close to one thousand entries, and a record 100000USD prizes offered by the organization.

This third edition has shown outstanding organizational improvements, reaching an outstanding level that has totally pleased all participants. We want to thank the club Al Alhi for the work done, as well as the UAE Federation and the sport authorities of the UAE and of Dubai, that have made possible this great success.

In particular, we want to thank the WKF vice-president and President of the UAE Karate Federation, General Nasser Al Razooqi,  for his guidance and leadership that is allowing karate in UAE to reach level difficult to imagine only a few years ago.
