The African Championships have taken place in Tunis with a great success. The UFAK Congress, that ed with the presence of the WKF President Antonio Espinós, has reelected for another 4 years period the current President Mohamed Tahar Mesbahi. Also the current WKF EC members Dieudonne Okombi, Souleymane Gaye and Bechir Cherif were reelected for the UFAK Board. 

The Championships ed with the presence of the WKF RC member Raphael Ortega as Chief Referee and of Esteban Perez, Chairman of the WKF OC. The event was run smoothly, and the WKF official Hijab was used by many athletes.

The UFAK and the WKF have strengthen relationships and have made plans for an even closer mutual collaboration in 2014.
