After the two first days of competition, all the finalists are known. As expected, competition has been exciting in all weight categories so far and promises top-level finals this weekend.

482 athletes from 44 countries are in Tampere, Finland to take part in the 49th European Senior Championships. Competition started on Thursday 1st and last until Sunday 4th of May 2014.

In individuals competition, 3 reigning European champions will compete this weekend to keep their European Champions Title. Erkan (+84Kg), Martin Abello (Female Kata) and Quitero (Male Kata) showed confidence in preliminaries in the European Karate Championships in Tampere, France. All other categories will reward a new champion.
In team championships, Italy and Spain (in both kata categories) and, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Finland (in kumite) are on track for gold.

Finals will start tomorrow for two days.
