Karate Stars build buzz ahead of Karate 1-Premier League in Paris

As the countdown to Karate 1-Premier League in Paris is coming to an end and one of the biggest international Karate tournaments is about to start, excitement is growing among first class Karatekas and fans of the sport alike ahead of the memorable event.

With over 1200 athletes from 80 countries already registered to compete in Paris, and since most of the world ranking leaders and current World Champions will be present in Pierre de Coubertin sports hall from January 27 to 29, expectations are building high in the days leading up to the tournament. 

The stars who are called to cause a sensation in Paris are taking social media to show how much they are looking forward to one of the flagship tournaments of international Karate. After nearly 120 days since the last Karate 1-Premier League and over 80 days after the 2016 World Championships, karatekas have waited too long to go back to the tatami in top international competitions. 

While the anticipated moment of their debut arrives, athletes are working hard to reach their physical peak ahead of the competition. In dojos around the word, participants in the Karate 1-Premier League in Paris give their best to prepare for the event. Top karatekas are also taking the opportunity to showcase their abilities in national competitions. 

Expectations are especially running high among French karatekas. In the last edition of the event celebrated in Paris, local athletes dominated the final ranking with a tally of 16 medals. Competitors from the host country hope to repeat the success, and the nearly 200 French athletes already registered to participate in Pierre de Coubertin sports hall aim at shining in front of family and fans. 

The 2016 edition of the Karate 1-Premier League in Paris crowned some of the biggest heroes of the sport. The karatekas who completed memorable participation in the tournament on 2016 are looking back at their quest to glory exactly a year ago. Their intention will be to repeat gold this year. 

Since being a Karate Star is not only a matter of shining on the tatami, the heroes of the ancient modality are also taking their time to fulfill their social commitments. As their remarkable feats catch the attention of different institutions, some of the best karatekas in the world are being honoured in their countries. 

The Karate1-Premier League- is the most important league event in the world of Karate and it will be one of the key elements in the road to the Olympic qualification since the points to be allocated in Karate 1-Premier League tournaments will play an essential role in the configuration of the World ranking.
