The first-class series of Karate international competitions ends in style with a thrilling tournament to be held in Halle/Leipzig (Germany) from September 8th to 10.

It will be the last opportunity for Karate’s elite to shine at Karate 1-Premier League this year. After the outstanding tournaments in Paris (France), Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Dubai (UAE) and Rabat (Morocco), Halle/Leipzig in Germany hosts the final event of the season.

The tournament taking place at Brandberge sports hall in Halle will be one of the highlights of the year in international Karate. Not only hundreds of karatekas from all over the world will fight for glory at one of the biggest events of the season, but also top athletes hope to get the points to end the year as World ranking leaders. In addition to this, the 2017 Karate 1-Premier League Grand Winners will be proclaimed in Halle/Leipzig.

With the registration process still open, over 1300 competitors from 86 countries have already confirmed their participation at the event thus continuing the pattern of record-breaking attendance of athletes in Karate 1-Premier League events this year. After four tournaments, the number of participants in Karate 1-Premier League had increased 26% from the 2016 edition and 36% from the 2015 edition, a tally that it is expected to skyrocket after the Halle/Leipzig tournament.
