The 45th edition of the International “Golden Belt” tournament was held on April 2-3 in the Serbian city of Čačak. More than 800 Karatekas gathered in the Balkan city to participate in the event considered the oldest Karate competition in Europe.

After two thrilling days of action, representatives from Serbia and Croatia topped the podium in the Men and Women categories, respectively, thus successfully putting the finishing touch to thriving performances in the competition.

The tournament held this past weekend in the Serbian city of Čačak marked the 45th edition of the event, in a confirmation of the strong commitment of Karate in the region. For this memorable occasion, more than 800 athletes from 15 countries in Senior, U21 and Junior categories were congregated in the quest for the Golden Belt in Čačak. 

The event was attended by EKF and WKF President Mr. Antonio Espinós and EKF General Secretary Mr. Stjepan Čelan.
