On the 19th of November the WKF President, Mr Antonio Espinós, met the Chairman of the Board of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, Mr Jahangir F. Hajiyev in its Headquarters in Baku, in the presence of the President of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation, Mr Yashar Bashirov, and the General Secretary of the European Karate Federation, Mr Stjepan Celan.

The meeting was very cordial and Mr Espinós thanked Mr Hajiyev for the support of the International Bank of Azerbaijan as a main sponsor of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation, and highlighted the immense potential of Karate in Azerbaijan and the confidence that the success of the Azerbaijan Karate athletes on the 2015 Baku European Games will contribute to the overall success of the Karate participation in Baku.
