WKF President Antonio Espinós and WKF Vice-President Nasser Alrazooqi met Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah on Monday to discuss the future of the sport. 

WKF President Antonio Espinós and WKF Vice-President Nasser Alrazooqi met Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah on Monday to discuss the future of the sport. 

The WKF officials gathered with the sports administrator from Kuwait in London as Karate’s international governing body continues to strengthen its influence worldwide. 

Among the many topics on the agenda, the sports representatives discussed the progress of Karate around the world, the upcoming events of the sport in Asia, and general matters regarding the Asian Karate Federation. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah is the current president of the Olympic Council of Asia. 

“The WKF is very thankful to Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah for taking the time to discuss with us further opportunities to continue spreading the Olympic values around the world," said WKF President Antonio Espinós. 

“We are committed to developing our sport in Asia, and we will continue our dialogue with major stakeholders to further take our sport to new levels in the region,” added the head of the WKF.
