WKF Women Sports Comminssion seminar in Japan

Mrs. Carmela Diaz, WKF Women Sports Commission Chair, held a Seminar in Tokyo in order to continue her work in the 5 continents. The Seminar supported by the Japan Karate Do Federation was held at the dojo in JKF office building with Mr. Takashi Sasagawa (JKF President) and Mr. Shigeo Kurihara (JKF Vice President) in the opening ceremony. 

With the presnce of Ms. Yasmin Chan (representative of the Commission in Asia), Atsuko Wakai (4 times World Champion), Rumiko Oki (a member of WKF Technical Committee) and 16 other women representing Japan, 7 representing Macau and 1 representative from Indonesia.

For the closing of the Seminar Mr. Iwaki Hashimoto (WKF EC member), Mr. Shuji Kusaka (JKF Secretary General) and Antonio Díaz (World Champion in Kata) were present to support the work done during 2 days of the Women Sports Commission. Participants to the seminar all expressed their thoughts and enjoyed the seminar. They thank WKF for the 1st seminar in Asia and hope it will continue so more karate females can benefit from this support.
