The EU Sport Forum 2017 took place in St Julian’s (Malta) from March 8-9. Organised by the DG Education, Youth, Sport and Culture of the European Commission, the Forum intended to analyse the implementation of the EU agenda for sport, while evaluating stakeholders' views on different activities to promote sports at European level.

Many topics were included in the sessions aiming at setting the course of high-level matters of interest for European sport, such as good governance, doping, or innovation, among others.

Mr. Boçek and Mr. Abela held meetings with leading figures of European sport throughout the event thus further strengthening Karate’s growing prominence among top authorities in the continent.
