WKF President Antonio Espinós finished his visit to Dubai this past week with an official reception at the headquarters of top Emirate sports institution Al Ahli Club. One main point of the agenda of the meeting was to discuss the progress of the anticipated Karate 1-Premier League to be held in Dubai in March /April next year. 

WKF President Antonio Espinós finished his visit to Dubai this past week with an official reception at the headquarters of top Emirate sports institution Al Ahli Club. One main point of the agenda of the meeting was to discuss the progress of the anticipated Karate 1-Premier League to be held in Dubai in March /April next year. 

The event was chaired by Al Ahli Club Deputy CEO Mr. Mohamed Al Haddad and was attended by WKF President together with WKF Vice-President Mr. Nasser Al Razooqi and WKF Protocol Commission Chairman Dr. Alaa Halawish. 

During the meeting the WKF delegation toured the impressive facilities of the institution. Then Mr. Espinós and Mr. Al Razooqi were distinguished with the Card of Honour of Al Ahli Club. 

In addition to receiving the honors of the top Emirate club, Mr. Espinós discussed with Karate representatives in the region the preparations ahead of the new edition of the WKF referee course and the Karate 1-Premier League event to take place in Dubai from March 27th to April 2nd.
